Inside house : Top 10 UK Interior stylists.

Inside House explores some of the most eclectic and simply beautiful homes across the UK uniquely styled by their owners.

@elegantlyknackeredstyle,  It’s not often we start a blog post with an insta handle but this one was just so fitting we couldn’t help ourselves.

This weeks interior spotlight takes a look at the home of Louisa who wears many hats within the industry and its clear to see how that has filtered down into her home.

Dark colours mixed with bold flowers, furniture that is full of character and her loving dog can be seen in abundance.

Louisa favours an interior that tells a story of is owner, one can tell right away that each piece of furniture, each interior product and where and how they are arranged has taken time, care and consideration.

Don’t be fooled into thinking that Louisa is just about interiors, we learnt heaps about Louisa and her passion for the outdoors and gardening via her YouTube channel, which is so very well presented.

In her own words.

‘’I’m Louisa and I have a portfolio of job titles; antique dealer, Instagram micro influencer, interior stylist, house renovator.

I have quite an individual interior style which I define as elegantly knackered. I much prefer old and worn to new and shiny.

I’m inspired by individuality and the Instagram interior accounts I most favour are unusual, characterful and unique’’

Were really hoping to connect again with Louisa who is a truly unique individual and who is so very genuine in her approach to her many passions, watch this space to hopefully here more about her and of course head over to her you tube channel and Instagram to follow a not your average insta account, we know you will be pleasantly surprised as we were.

Whilst many of us are either thinking about moving out of the city or actually doing it @maric_living is already there and showing us exactly why a home overlooking a view to die for is well worth it.

Dee has created a stunning family home that is both practical and mature which is no easy venture with 3 children and a dog at home, her love for the outdoors as well as the indoors is clear to see and at home in wales what better place to explore both.

Dee’s home is full of playful features like rainbow arches and full pattern walls whilst keeping it serious for the adults with and impressive dining set up for entertaining once the kids are to bed.

In her own words.

‘’ I’ve always had a passion for interiors and architecture. I love to up-cycle and give crafts a go. I started Maric Living because I was inspired by other interiors accounts and I wanted to share the progress I had made on my home. It’s lovely to be part of a community of like minded people!

We were lucky enough to move into our dream home, but despite the fact that it had already undergone a major renovation, I was keen to put my own stamp on it. The journey has been around changing this house from a blank canvas into a family home!’’

Our favourite spot is the view across the rear garden and over the ocean, what we wouldn’t do for that right now dreaming of faraway places and travel.

We will certainly continue to follow Dee on her interior and exterior passion and perhaps we will have a further update later in the year to see what’s new in Dee’s house.

Follow Dee @maric_living to discover what you’re missing and take a look below at just a few shots from her beautiful home.

@niceinnotts , Liz's profile on Instagram stopped us in our tracks when we first saw her bold styling and quirky ideas, her home is simply beautiful and full of character but boasts being a practical family home at the same time.

with over 12K followers she has a serious following and its easy to see why.

In her own words

''They say you know when you’ve found ‘the one’ and that’s exactly how it was for us when we viewed this house. We loved it immediately.

We..Me, Liz, my fiancé Rik and our now 13 yr old daughter Ava..moved in eight years ago but we still haven’t finished renovating, slow and steady wins the race. We do what we can when we can and we now have the utility room and the downstairs cloakroom to complete. It’s been a big job as everything in this house needed doing, heating, electrics, windows etc. It was incredibly dated and absolutely filthy. We have been incredibly lucky to have had my dad’s help since moving in. He is a retired joiner and his knowledge and skill set have been invaluable to us.

We have become braver in our design choices since buying this house. We have bold wallpapers and definitely don’t shy away from colour. I don’t think our house will ever be finished as the ideas keep coming and the walls will keep changing and I think that’s so exciting to see your style and taste evolve.

I’ve always loved interior design and found Instagram a couple of years ago. It has become my passion. It’s a great place to document your renovation journey and to meet like-minded people. It’s a constant source of inspiration and has opened up many opportunities for me. I’ve worked with some great brands and love nothing more than styling for a photo and creating exciting content.

I can’t imagine leaving this house but I do love the thought of having a blank canvas again so I’d never say never ''

Were quit sure Liz wont stop and feel we will see many more adventures in interior decorating and renovation so be sure to follow her on her journey and let us know what you think in the comments below.
